8 Shows We Can't Wait to Watch on Disney+ This Month

From films that are looking for a new life on streaming to series both iconic and brand new, there’s a plethora of new content coming to Disney’s streaming service this September.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu

It’s no secret that the Mandalorian & Grogu’s feature film debut didn’t send the box office to hyperspace. However, the latest Star Wars film could find a new, larger audience when it debuts on Disney+ – – the original home of the titular characters – – on September 2nd.

Kraven the Hunter

Speaking of theatrical bombs, the Sony-produced Kraven film is set to debut on Disney+ on September 13th. While the film, based on one of Spider-Man’s oldest villains, was far from a critical favorite, the unprecedented interest in Spider-Man: Brand New Day could make the film appealing to those looking to further scratch their Spidey itch.

Project Runway Season 22 Finale

The 22nd season of the iconic Project Runway has been debuting on Disney+ just after airing on Freeform throughout its run, and the season finale will be no different. The episode will drop at 10:00 PM PT on September 10th.

City of Blood

Based on a graphic novel, the 8-part German vampire thriller City of Blood follows two sisters as they “uncover the shocking truth about the city’s hidden power structures – only to find themselves at the center of a life-threatening conflict.” The series, which debuts in full on September 16, stars Lea Drinda, Soma Pysall, Franz Hartwig, Jördis Triebel, David Schütter, Mouataz Alshaltouh, Jenny Schily, Dagmar Manzel, Melika Foroutan, Jan Georg Schütte, and Lars Eidinger.

The 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival

The 2026 edition of the hugely influential music festival will be streamed on September 18th and 19th. The show will feature BTS, Cardi B, Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Chesney, Weezer, Zara Larsson, Benson Boone, Ciara, Lainey Wilson, LE SSERAFIM, Major Lazer, Muse, Snoop Dogg, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Stella Lefty performing live from Las Vegas.

The Simpsons Season 37

The 37th (yes, 37TH!) season of The Simpsons will be available in full on Disney+ on September 27th.

A Double-Dose of Halloween!

Finally, not one but TWO Halloween specials geared towards younger viewers are set to debut during September: Marvel’s Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! on September 25th and SuperKitties: Howl-O-Ween Charm on the 29th.
