We’re heading into one of the busiest seasons of the year for Disney World!
Halloween and fall festivities have kicked off, and then the holidays come right after. There are so many different seasonal offerings and limited-time events to check out, but one of the biggest is getting ready to start at EPCOT!
On Thursday, August 27th, the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicks off, and we are excited! This is the biggest festival of the year at EPCOT and is home to more than 100 new food items at more than 30 booths around the park. If you’re a foodie, this is the biggest must-visit event in Disney World.
Of course, we’ll be there on opening day to try the new eats, check out the exclusive merchandise, and enjoy all the entertainment. This year is the 30th anniversary of the festival, so there are some special reimagined and returning food items across the food booth menus.
This year is also a big year for cheese lovers! Emile’s Fromage Montage (the cheese-themed food scavenger hunt) is returning to the festival, but in addition to that, you can check out “Cheers to Cheese!” at CommuniCore Hall starting on September 18th. The interactive exhibit will be open through November 8th and will offer a fun look at one of the world’s most beloved foods. While you’re inside CommuniCore Hall, make sure to visit The Wedge, hosted by Dairy Does More, where you can try a bunch of cheese-themed creations.
There’s going to be quite a bit to see and explore this year, and we’ll take you through all of it. The festival lasts through November 21st, 2026, so you have nearly three months to see everything. Come back next week to see our thoughts on the food booths and all the news from the fest!
