It’s FINALLY here! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has kicked off, and we (especially me) couldn’t be more excited!

We’re live at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and we’re taking you along with us. With the party comes several changes — park hours, menu items, character meetings, and more! But we’re here to talk about the attraction changes because some do receive spooky overlays for the season!

First, let’s talk about EVERY ride available during the party:

Frontierland

• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
• Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Liberty Square

• Haunted Mansion

Fantasyland

• Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid
• Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
• Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
• “it’s a small world”
• Peter Pan’s Flight
• The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
• Mad Tea Party

Storybook Circus

• Dumbo the Flying Elephant
• The Barnstormer

Tomorrowland

• Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
• Astro Orbiter
• Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
• Space Mountain
• Tomorrowland Speedway
• Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover
• TRON Lightcycle / Run

Out of all of these attractions, THREE of them receive ride overlays — Mad Tea Party, Space Mountain, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.

Mad Tea Party

Instead of the soundtrack that normally plays while guests spin to the point of nausea, a spooky soundtrack replaces it, so you can spin in style! Spooky lighting effects will also be present, making for an even scarier ride!

Space Mountain

You may think the Haunted Mansion is the spookiest ride of the night, but I beg to differ! Space Mountain plays a spooky soundtrack and turns ALL of the lights off, so you don’t even know when you’re about to turn or get a good whiplash! I don’t know what’s scarier — riding it in pitch blackness or riding it with the lights on (yes, that’s really happened to me, and it was SCARY!)

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

Everything is better with jokes, especially when they’re on theme! All of the monsters will come out in their best Halloween spirit and put on the show we all know and love, but with a spooky twist! Yes, there will still be “that guy,” but he may be dressed as a ghost.
