Just like the parks, Disney World restaurants are constantly changing. A new chef can take a menu from ‘meh’ to amazing, a refurbishment can change the entire atmosphere, or a limited-time dish can be the best thing you eat on your whole trip.
Olivia’s Cafe at Disney’s Old Key West Resort has discontinued brunch, a longtime favorite of ours and a hidden gem in Disney World. Now, the restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, and Disney just released the new breakfast and lunch menus!
The new Breakfast menu features some familiar brunch favorites like the Oatmeal Brulee, Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken, Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Banana Bread French Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes, Sombrero Beach Omelet, Papa’s Hash, and the namesake Olivia’s Breakfast.
The Lunch menu is similar to the dinner menu, featuring the same Conch Fritters, Shrimp Cocktail, Homemade Soup of the Day, Market Salad, Shrimp and Grits, Mahi Sandwich, and Southernmost Buttermilk Fried Chicken. New items include the Tuna Poke Bowl and Chicken Stir-Fry.
The Dinner menu is identical to before brunch was discontinued, so you can still get your favorites. If you want to dine at Olivia’s Cafe with these new changes, breakfast will be served daily from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, lunch from 11:30 AM to 2 PM, and dinner from 5 PM to 9 PM.

We always loved Olivia’s but even being AP and DVC members, the new rules have made it incredibly difficult and time-consuming to ever go to a resort again nor can we park at a resort anymore. We seldom make reservations, assuming the eatery accepts them, and being on the clock for a two hour window is hardly relaxing….in fact, it’s extremely stressful!!! We occasionally stay there overnight but it was so fun to take the boat to and from Disney Springs….or to also take it to Port Orleans for beigets. Glad we have our memories bc we can’t visit that way again. Disney doesn’t value its decades long AP and DVC members if they’re also locals….a big reason we became locals was to visit Wdw!!! I wonder how DFB people get around now??? They can’t be a resort guest every night of the year, can they???
The new restrictions only apply to leaving from Disney Springs. We get around by not parking at Disney Springs and taking buses from the parks instead.
