If you’ve been following along with Disney news over the past few months, you know there are a ton of new projects and exciting experiences opening in Disney World over the next several years.
Hurly-Burly
We’ve got Piston Peak in Magic Kingdom, Monstropolis in Hollywood Studios, Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom, and more. While we are thrilled for these new lands to open, we still have a long wait until they do, which is why we are so excited that a brand new experience opens in Disney World next week!
That’s right, after much waiting and anticipation, Hurly-Burly officially opens next week on October 1st. This all-new lounge experience will open on Disney’s BoardWalk and is themed to “the golden era of seaside leisure, offering family entertainment by day and splashy live music by night.”

Here, you can expect specialty cocktails, small plates, and live entertainment as you are transported back in time to the 1920s while enjoying the theming and entertainment of this new space. Now, the name of this spot is very interesting. Hurly-Burly actually means a loud state of commotion and uproar, so we suspect this location will be full of fun, music, and high energy, which we are very excited to experience!

Hurly-Burly lives in the home of the former BoardWalk dueling piano bar, Jelly Rolls. This was a beloved experience many fans were sad to see leave, so we are glad to see that this new lounge will bring back a lively and entertaining space to Disney’s BoardWalk.

One of the best places to enjoy and relax after a long day in the Disney World parks is the BoardWalk; the food, drinks, and entertainment are all incredible. And this space has been missing a fun lounge experience since the closure of Jelly Rolls, and we hope Hurly-Burly will fill that void well!
