A brand-new Dolly Parton-themed hotel has officially opened in Nashville, Tennessee. Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel features some incredible theming, cool experiences, and, of course, classic Dolly Parton flair that we know and love.
The hotel is all about Dolly’s love for music, and on the hotel’s website, Dolly said, “All my life, I’ve been a SongTeller. And there’s no better place to write a song than Nashville. SongTeller Hotel is my love letter to the city. It’s a place where musicians and guests will come together to experience Music City’s inspiring spirit.” Come with us to explore this brand-new hotel!
It’s easy to see just how much this hotel is inspired by Dolly Parton and her love of all things colorful. The lobby is large and inviting, and is sleek and modern while still feeling cozy and comfortable.
The check-in desk is on the second floor, but the first floor, as you enter, opens up to sweeping, high ceilings, and the floor features a large mosaic of one of Dolly’s iconic pink guitars.
We’re completely obsessed with this chandelier in the lobby that features Dolly’s signature butterflies.
The hotel features several different room types, including Signature Rooms, Signature Suites, Acoustic Suites, Six Sister Suites, and the SongTeller Suite. We stayed in one of the Signature Rooms, which features either a king or two queen beds, plus a ton of other amenities like a mini fridge, premium sateen sheets, in-room music, a smart TV, nightly turndown service, and more.
We also checked out the Sister Suites, which have three beds that fit two people each, with curtains around the beds so you can make it more private if you want.
The bathroom has multiple vanities and sinks with three showers. This is a dream slumber party scenario! The room is inspired by Dolly Parton’s five sisters; the chandelier in the sitting area features all their birthstones, and the side table has their names on it.
It was packed with details that made us feel part of the family.
You can also experience Parton’s Live, a dining experience that boasts great food, signature cocktails, and live music. When we visited, not all dining locations were open just yet, but they’re expected to open by the end of the week.
SongTeller Cafe was open, so we stopped by to check it out — stay tuned for our full review!
Take in some sights and sounds at Jolene’s, a piano bar and lounge named after one of Dolly’s most iconic songs.
On the third floor, you’ll find Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum, which invites guests to experience Dolly’s career and personal memories through her own eyes.
Make sure you keep in mind that this new hotel is in Nashville, Tennessee, and is not located at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Overall, we had such a fantastic time checking out the hotel. While there are more affordable options near Nashville, this really is in the heart of the excitement of everything, and you might be able to justify the price. If you’re a huge Dolly fan and don’t want to pay to stay at the hotel, you should at least get reservations at Jolene’s so you can check everything out, including the museum.
We’ll be bringing you a full tour of our hotel room and more of these spaces throughout our stay, so don’t forget to check back here for even more details and information! In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest travel news and more!
