Fireworks are one of the best ways to end your night at Disney World. Between Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom, Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT, and Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios, there are so many fireworks options to choose from.

But your fireworks plans might be changing soon, because Disney just changed the showtimes of two popular fireworks shows in August!
Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom is changing its showtime in August. Currently, the fireworks begin at 10 PM, but starting on August 31st, the fireworks will begin at 9:30 PM nightly. Make sure to mark your calendars if you’re going to Magic Kingdom on August 31st or later!

Additionally, the Hollywood Studios fireworks are shifting earlier, starting on Sunday, August 23rd. The 9 PM showing of Fantasmic! will begin half an hour earlier at 8:30 PM. On select nights with an extra showing at 10:30 PM, this show will also be moved up a half-hour to begin at 10 PM on the dot. Make sure you don’t miss Sorcerer Mickey in action!

If you’re headed to EPCOT to catch Luminous The Symphony of Us, Disney has confirmed that showtimes will remain at 9 PM nightly until mid-September. Your plans won’t change if you’re catching the fireworks on World Showcase Lagoon!

Nighttime shows at WDW may be changing, but I know one thing that isn’t…. The sheer incompetence and ineptitude of the people running the parks. GOTG has not been working properly for ages. This morning it’s down along with Figment and LWTL. This is a total disgrace and an outrage to guests paying nosebleed prices for everything. The parks are in utter disrepair following years of mismanagement and deferred maintenance presumably under D’Amaro’s failed leadership. The entire executive team and board should be sacked. They have destroyed Walt’s legacy.
