When you’re walking around Disney World, sometimes it can be hard to find the perfect options for more filling meals without having to book a reservation for table service dining.

Who’s ready for a delicious lunch?

Many of Disney World’s quick-service dining spots have meal options that aren’t as filling or aren’t as healthy as you’d like them to be, potentially leaving you feeling a bit lost. EPCOT is one of the best parks to find food that will really impress you, and these two new options at Sunshine Seasons certainly haven’t disappointed us. In fact, they may be some of the BEST new quick-service lunch options out there!

Sunshine Seasons is the quick-service location inside The Land Pavilion, usually open from 9 AM to 8 PM, but sometimes you may see this spot close earlier than expected, making it a more solid option for lunch rather than dinner (you can check the My Disney Experience App for the most up-to-date hours).

The first of the two new options available is the Wood Fired Chicken for $12.99, which is served with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Chimichurri Rojo.

Our favorite part of this dish was the mashed potatoes thanks to their nice creamy, buttery flavor. The chicken itself was very tender, and the skin had good seasoning. The green beans were almost too fresh, like slightly “undercooked,” but that wasn’t our biggest complaint. We’re unsure if we were just unlucky with our batch, but the chicken and green beans had a slightly off-putting flavor, presumably from the sauce that covered them both. We would be willing to give this one another try, as we do think it’s really solid otherwise, and you get a TON of food for the price, making it a great deal.

If they can solve the chemical flavor, this is perfect!

Now the second new option, the Beef Barbacoa? This totally lands at the top of our list! It’ll cost you $13.49 and is served with Cilantro-Lime Rice, Black Beans, Onions, Peppers, Cotija, and Pico de Gallo.

The beef was super tender and really flavorful! We loved that it had a really nice kick that was surprisingly spicy for a quick-service restaurant. The pico tasted fresh, and the grilled peppers were soft in the best way. We were afraid the rice would be crunchy, dry, or stale, but it was actually pretty nice and soft for quick-service rice. We do wish there were some more black beans, but again, this was a really sizable amount of food for the price!

This was a BIG hit!

We think most of the dining options from Sunshine Seasons are really underrated, so if you’re looking for a quick meal indoors with plenty of seating and AC, don’t skip it on your next trip. Be sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney World news!
