What does your dream Disney vacation look like?
If it involves lounging poolside with a drink in your hand, experiencing world-class entertainment, and sailing to new destinations — the Disney Cruise Line may be for you! We recently sailed on the Disney Dream, and have been sharing bits of our trip. But now, it’s time to take a tour of a Disney Dream stateroom!
The Disney Dream features plenty of different types of staterooms, some with ocean views or verandas, some without, and some that will cost you some SERIOUS dough!
We stayed in a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Veranda, so that’s what we’ll be taking a tour of here. But first, can we talk about how gorgeous the atrium on this ship is?
But, the rest of the ship is pretty luxurious feeling too — even in those loooooong hallways.
Our room was located on Deck 10, and luckily you’ll find plenty of directories located all throughout the ship so you can know where you’re going!
When you get to your room for the first time on a Disney Cruise, you’ll find your Key to the World card located above your room number. This is how you’ll enter your room and do other various things onboard the ship.
Here’s a look at what you see when you enter the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Veranda. It seems pretty spacious, but these rooms are technically designed to sleep up to four — which could get a bit crowded!
You’ll find the bathroom located just past the entrance, with a separate door for privacy. There’s a shower, toilet, and a pretty small vanity area with a sink and mirror.
The first section of this stateroom is where you’ll find the bed, along with built-in nightstands on either side. There are also lamps, outlets, and USB chargers on either side of the bed.
And occasionally, you just might find a pretty cute critter and some candy on your bed too! We’re pretty sure this is a walrus or a seal, but what do you think?!
Here’s a look at some of the cute Disney details in the room — look at those little Mickey heads on the lamp!
You’ll also find some Disney-themed artwork on the wall…
…just above the pull-out couch that sleeps two! We opted for some meats and cheeses for our arrival, and that’s what you’ll find on the table here!
And finally, the BEST part about this stateroom — the VIEW! It’s not a huge balcony, but it is relatively private and has enough space for two lounge chairs and a small table. Perfect for drinking some morning coffee or having an evening cocktail!

These photos make that stateroom look so inviting—it totally reminds me of my own Disney cruise experience where every detail felt like a mini vacation. Did anyone else fall in love with the ocean views, or was it the cozy decor that really caught your eye?

These stateroom photos are stunning! They remind me of my Disney cruise, where the ocean views and decor created pure magic.
Wow, that stateroom looks pretty sweet! Love the little Disney touches and that veranda view is amazing. Definitely adding this to my Disney cruise wish list!
This is so helpful! We’re booking our first Disney cruise soon and have been wondering about the size of the staterooms. The photos really make it clear how spacious and well-designed it is. Thanks for the great tour!
that Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom looks pretty sweet! Love the veranda and those little Disney touches. Definitely gonna keep this in mind when planning my next Disney cruise!
I loved reading this! It brought back so many memories of my own Disney Cruise a few years ago. The atrium really does feel magical when you step in for the first time, and that veranda view is everything. Thanks for sharing such a detailed tour — it almost feels like I was there again!
That towel animal cracked me up 😂 I swear, Disney’s housekeeping has some next-level origami skills. Also, that hallway photo is way too real… I’ve gotten lost on those endless decks more times than I’d like to admit.
Four people in that room sounds like a nightmare. I don’t care how nice the veranda is, I’d lose my mind sharing that bathroom.
The room photos make the oceanview stateroom feel practical as well as cozy. Seeing the storage, sleeping areas, and view together is much more helpful than only reading a room description.
Great photos! We’re considering the Disney Dream for our next family trip, and this stateroom looks so much more spacious than I expected. How was the storage space for a family of four?
What a wonderful tour – thank you for sharing! The room looks so inviting, and I love all the little Disney details, especially those Mickey heads on the lamp. The veranda view is absolutely stunning – I can already imagine sipping coffee there in the morning or enjoying an evening cocktail.
Love how they hang the Key‑to‑the‑World card right above the room number, feels like a tiny portal. The veranda on that cabin basically turns the room into a private balcony, no wonder it’s on the pricier side.
I’m surprised the vanity area in the bathroom is so small, seems like it’d be a tight squeeze for multiple people getting ready at the same time. The rest of the room looks pretty spacious though.
Beautiful photos! We’re thinking about booking the Disney Dream for our next family vacation, and this stateroom looks much more spacious than I imagined. For a family of four, did you find the storage space sufficient throughout your trip?
Unlike older ships where beds sit low to the ground, the queen beds on the Disney Dream are intentionally elevated. You can easily slide full-sized, hard-sided suitcases completely flat underneath them, keeping your floor space clear. The room features a double-door closet setup with hanging rods, a column of shelves, and an in-room safe. This provides plenty of space to hang formal clothes, dresses, and collared shirts. The long desk unit features multiple deep drawers and cabinets. It also houses a cooling box (mini-fridge) for drinks and snacks. Most staterooms (Deluxe categories and up) feature Disney’s signature split bathroom—one room has a toilet and sink, and the other has a shower/tub and sink. This effectively doubles your bathroom shelf and counter storage, making it much easier for four people to get ready at once.
We have some tips on how to make the most out of the space as well. Because there are plenty of open shelves in the wardrobe and above the desk, keeping clothes in packing cubes lets you treat shelves like drawers without your clothes turning into a chaotic pile. The cabin walls and doors are entirely metal. Heavy-duty magnetic hooks are perfect for hanging wet swimsuits, lanyards, hats, and day bags right on the wall to keep them off the couch and desk. Toss a cheap, collapsible mesh hamper into your suitcase. It fits perfectly in the bottom of the closet and keeps everyone’s dirty laundry contained and out of sight.
Overall, as long as you tuck your empty suitcases under the bed and use the vertical shelving, a family of four can easily stay organized without feeling like they are tripping over luggage.
